As the weather gets warmer, my urge to travel somewhere tropical and fabulous grows. And then I realize where I live... Palm Beach. With old-fashioned architecture, beautiful beaches and palm trees galore (hence the name), it's what I and many others consider one of the most beautiful places in the entire country. Not everyone can say they live where people vacation, and I'm fortunate enough to have that privilege, never taking a single day for granted.
Palm Beach is full of artists, local boutiques and emerging designers.
One of them being jewelry designer, Idalia Baudo, who happens to be a dear friend of mine. If there's one thing I admire, it's strong and creative boss women who aren't afraid to defy the odds and excel at their craft, and Idalia has certainly set the bar high. Not only is she a successful designer here in Palm Beach, but she is also an entrepreneur, wife and amazing mother to two beautiful children. Needless to say, her hands are full, but that doesn't stop her from conquering her industry.
I have a special connection with Idalia's jewelry, because the first gift my boyfriend gave me 2 1/2 years ago for Valentine's Day was her Rialto necklace, and I've had a love affair with her brand ever since.
Classic. Timeless. Elegant.
Idalia understands this is how women want to feel when they put on a piece of jewelry. It doesn't have to be the most expensive piece on the market, but it rather comes down to two things: style and quality. In fact, her prices are extremely affordable so every woman can have a little taste of luxury guilt-free. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication, and Idalia believes in designing pieces that effortlessly integrate into your wardrobe and transition from season to season.
I'm all about quality, and you can feel the craftsmanship in each piece made by Italian artisans. I'm wearing pieces from her newest collection, and my favorite is the Lia tassel choker lariatin silver. It can be worn multiple ways - doubled, in a bow, as a belt, tied in the back, you name it. You can see the different ways I styled it throughout this post. I'm also wearing two of herMuse cuffs with one of her original Stella cuffs, (because her jewelry is meant to be stacked), as well as her Muse ring and Ciara earrings. The majority of her necklaces are lariat styles, which you can get so much use out of since they can be styled many ways, ultimately ensuring you get your money's worth. This is so important to me when I shop, because there's too many things I want to waste money on things I will only wear once, unless it's for a super special occasion (yes, shopaholic here...no shame.)
P.S. this maxi dress is by one of my favorite brands lately, Premonition, who I've featured multiple times on the blog. This print is also available in a midi dress, as well as a bodysuit, which looks amazing with a midi skirt or jeans. The silver in the fabric adds a touch of glamour as it shimmers in the light... swoon <3
I especially love the rope belt detail with the tassels. Tie it in a single knot and let it hang on the side, double it and tie it the back, or when in doubt, tie it in a bow like I did. I was so excited to style this outfit. Between the dress and the jewelry, it's giving me major resort vibes and is the epitome of Palm Beach fashion - easy, glamorous and elevated casual wear.
Silver bag by From St Xavier. Also available in gold.
This is my personal favorite way to wear this necklace, especially with a backless dress or top. It's so elegant and adds an unexpected twist when you turn around like, "who, me?" *hair flip*
