Instead of overpacking like I always do for New York fashion Week this past February (read about it here), I planned all of my outfits down to a T. Nothing more, nothing less. I arranged for this jacket by urbancode to be shipped to New York in time for Fashion Week, but due to the blizzard that caught everyone by surprise, it didn't arrive in time. Which brings me to today's look that I still wanted to share with you guys because it's too good not to shoot, and would have been totally NYFW-worthy. All of their jackets are faux fur, but you would never know! Their prices are majorly affordable as well.
My metallic obsession is real, guys. I especially love this green pleated skirt by La Cienegà. I love how it sways in the wind when I walk. It's also available in a champagne color, which is gorgeous for the summer with a crop top and sandals. Pieces like this are a great addition to your wardrobe, because you can wear them all year long. It's important to invest in pieces that can easily transition from season to season and remain a classic staple even after the trends change, so you get your money's worth. It's 100% possible to be on trend with your wardrobe year-round, even if you don't constantly update it. The key? Purchasing pieces that are flattering that you can style from spring to fall, so you can get more use out of it. After all, wearing pieces that compliment your shape never goes out of style. Can I get an amen?
I've been sporting this silver bageverywhere lately. Expect to see this bag on the blog as I incorporate more silver accessories into my upcoming outfits.
