Life is more fun with a little color... specifically pink! Or at least, that's what emerging designer, Kristina Mak, believes. And I couldn't agree more!
I recently had the pleasure of meeting the designer and attending her exclusive launch party here in Boca, Florida, which is right around the corner from me in Palm Beach. This is her very FIRST collection (how exciting?!) and it will be available online at www.KristinaMak.com in just a few weeks! I'm so excited and ready to shop till I drop. Like me, Kristina doesn't follow trends, but rather sets them. She focuses on the aesthetic, tailoring and, most importantly, attention to detail, such as her signature gold fringe hem that I'm #dying over.
P.S. she designed the top and skirt she's wearing above!
Here's a sneak peak of some of the looks before it hits the website in a few weeks...
This is my favorite set from her collection. The colors. The print. The touch of gold fringe... I'm so obsessed. It's breathtaking and effortless - exactly what fashion should be. Both pieces can be worn so many different ways, especially the top with a high-waisted midi skirt or denim. That's what I love most about Kristina's designs. They're fun, unique and fashion-forward, but still practical and extremely diverse.
Did I mention she makes her own patterns?! That's right. As if this girl boss wasn't talented enough.
This romper is ADORABLE for the summer. I love the contrast of the bright colors and the black and white. The craftsmanship of each piece is impeccable. Her collection takes you to another place...somewhere glamorous, luxurious, and totally divine.
For those of you who don't know, I love anything with pockets. The gold rope-lined pockets instantly sold me on this dress. And how cute are the gold tassels?!
This is my 2nd favorite piece. The print is so fun and bold, and the fit is so flattering. It's perfect for Palm Beach and South Florida, or even that tropical summer vacation you've been planning... Get your passport ready!
Stay tuned for the launch of her 1st collection on www.KristinaMak.com in just a few weeks! It may be her very first collection, but there are many more to come!
